A rumor from yesterday suggested that the original Dead Rising, which came out on the Xbox 360 (with iOS and Wii getting a slightly different version of it), would be coming to the Playstation 4. Well, Capcom confirmed that rumor and gave us a little more to look forward to as well. Not only will Dead Rising be coming to Playstation 4, but it will also be headed to the Xbox One and PC as well. And in keeping with their bringing previous generation games up to the current one, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will also be coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4.
No other details on them have been announced, but Capcom left us with promise of more details to come “soon.”
Just a guess on my part, but since the original Dead Rising is the only one of these games that isn’t available for PC, my guess is there won’t be much in the way of changes. Still, nice to get the extra bump in horsepower for your zombie-slaying silliness. And hey, Capcom, if you’re reading this, how about bringing Dragon’s Dogma up too?
