Fallout 4’s Nuka-World DLC Drops at the End of August

Nuka-World, Fallout 4‘s final piece of downloadable content, will be releasing on August 30 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.  This is the sixth piece of DLC that has been released for Fallout 4 and the second large, story-driven piece (the other being Far Harbor). Unlike Far Harbor, which was released with a $24.99 price point, Nuka-World will only run you $19.99.  This might mean that Nuka-World isn’t as substantial an add-on, but that’s only speculation at this point.  Of course, if you have Fallout 4‘s season pass, it will available “free” of charge.  On the flip side, the Nuka-World expansion looks like it will be around 3.6GB, where Far Harbor was only around 2.7GB.  Of course that doesn’t necessarily reflect the amount of content you’ll get, so read into that as you will.

According to Bethesda, “Nuka-World is a vast amusement park featuring Raider gangs and unique park zones like Safari Adventure, the World of Refreshment, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, Galactic Zone, and Nuka-Town, USA. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders factions, weapons, creatures and more. Enjoy the ride!”

Fallout 4 has been a divisive game since its release last November, but there’s no denying that it’s a good game. Whether it’s for you or not, is a completely different question. Either way, here’s hoping this final piece of DLC sends Fallout 4 out with a bang! Check out the trailer below for a closer look at Nuka-World.
