Dominic Chavez decided Jason Arriola shouldn’t do a podcast by himself, so the two of them get together to start talking video game music. In this episode, the guys take a listen to the Mega Man Maverick Hunter X soundtrack. A PSP remake of one of the best entries in the Mega Man series was a dicey proposition by itself, but to remake one of the best SNES soundtracks was another matter entirely. None of the composers who worked on the SNES original worked on this one, but Kento Hasegawa, Seiko Kobuchi, and Shinya Okada did a surprisingly good job of updating the soundtrack.
The ROWYCO theme song, “Kaze Fuma”, was composed by chibi-tech and our logo was designed by Melissa Diaz. Like what you hear?
