At noon Eastern time on February 13th, gamers will get the opportunity to purchase tickets to this year’s E3, which takes place in Los Angeles from June 13th to the 15th. 15,000 tickets will go on sale with an initially discounted price of $150 and then switching to the regular price of $250. The tickets will give access to all three days of show.
This seems to be a bit of a desperation move on E3’s part. With the advent of livestreams and readily available news sources, the need for an event of its ilk has seemed to dwindle. I still personally look forward to E3 every year, but it is not the news behemoth it once was.
