Luke and I have made no secret of our love of Gundam. We’ve also mentioned our love Berserk. It’s been sixteen years since Sword of the Berserk: Guts’ Rage came out on the Dreamcast. And the Playstation 2 game Berserk: Millinnium Falcon Hen Seima Senki no Sho was never released outside of Japan.
Then, the most wonderful time of the year for video games, E3 started and we got a little teaser trailer for a new Berserk game. Koei Tecmo’s studio Omega Force (best know for the Dynasty Warriors series) is making it, meaning there’s bound to be plenty of people for Guts to plow through. No real information has been released for the game yet and even the title is tentative, but you can check out the trailer below.
Berserk is coming to the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Vita and is going to release in Japan, North America, and Europe. No release date has been announced, but a “coming soon” tease at the end of the trailer means it’s hopefully not far off.
