Tokyo RPG Factory, the developer behind I Am Setsuna, announced their latest title today, Lost Sphear.
Melancholy seems to be the name of the game for Tokyo RPG Factory and Lost Sphear is definitely not looking to buck that trend. It’s story centers around a young man named Kanata who lives in a world that has parts of it, including people, disappear. Kanata sets out and gathers a party together to save the world, but the overall mood of the game doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a cheery adventure.
Lost Sphear has been announced for an “early 2018” release on the Playstation 4, Switch, and Steam. If you’re interested in a physical copy, they’re available in limited quantities at the Square Enix store.
