Well, we’ve got two new Pokémon games incoming! To help celebrate Pokémon’s twentieth anniversary (!), which is today, Nintendo announced Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are coming to the 3DS this holiday season.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are going to be playable in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, and traditional and simplified Chinese (since China’s finally letting video games be a thing in their country).
Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow will be available to purchase on the 3DS Virtual Console individually. A new feature added to those versions will be the ability to upload your Pokémon in those three games, upload them to Pokémon Bank (which stores your Pokémon in the cloud and costs $4.99 annually), and then bring them into Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon.
If you want to watch the Nintendo Direct…directly, you can watch it below. It’s short and the opening is pretty cool.
