After months of hype and speculation surrounding No Man’s Sky, Sean Murray of Hello Games took to the PlayStation Blog this morning with a huge announcement. It was finally revealed that No Man’s Sky would be releasing June 21, 2016 on PlayStation 4 and PC. For those unfamiliar with No Man’s Sky this is how Murray describes it, “In No Man’s Sky you can trade, fight, explore, and survive in a boundless, computer-generated universe. It’s a vast, open game.” Murray also went on to announce a “full-blown” retail version of the game, which should be great news for collectors and anyone who still loves that new game smell.
No Man’s Sky has been the darling of E3 for the past couple of years, but hype seems to have died down a bit in recent months, so only time will tell if it will live up to its lofty promises. In just a few short months we’ll know just how vast and unique No Man’s Sky’s universe truly is. Until then, keep it here for more on No Man’s Sky and all things Games and Junk.
