Since I’m doing something new with the bonus episodes of Rock Out With Your Cart, I thought I’d stick the first episode in the new format in the free feed. Well, here we are, me trying a new format. For the time being, I’m going to be doing something for the Dream Events that I think will be more tenable for me. Twice a month, I’ll check out the games that came out that part of the month in the past in 5 year increments. I’ll listen to some of the soundtracks from those games and pick a few of my favorite tracks from those releases. It’s like ROWYCO but with a little history lesson thrown in!
So, for this episode, we’re looking back at games that came out the first half of May in 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, and 2016. I’m sure I’ll miss some here and there and I’m also sure I’m sure I’ll occasionally get the dates wrong. I’m cross-checking them as best I can between Wikipedia, IMDB, MobyGames, and any other sites I can find with a date. So don’t hold me accountable if I get a date wrong here and there.
With that in mind, I’ll also not be naming the Dream Events anymore. Can you imagine trying to come up with a title for this mess every couple of weeks?
