As a follow-up to our GAJ Game Club on The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Jason Arriola and Dominic Chavez dig into its soundtrack. Ryo Nagamatsu was the composer on this one. He did a good job rearranging classic themes from previous entries in the series and adding in his own unique work. The soundtrack is a surprising parallel to the game by having plenty of nods to the past (A Link to the Past, specifically) while mixing in new elements and making it its own. Sure, there’s one piece of music that… “borrows” rather heavily from another video game soundtrack, but Nagamatsu took the opportunity and really hit it out of the park.
The ROWYCO theme song, “Kaze Fuma”, was composed by chibi-tech and our logo was designed by Melissa Diaz. Like what you hear?
