Just announced this morning, The Church in the Darkness is a game that’s made by one of the guys, Richard Rouse III, behind State of Decay (and I love State of Decay, so I have to check this out). Check out the trailer below.
The Church in the Darkness takes place in the 1970’s and has you infiltrating a cult to check on the well-being of your nephew. Watching the trailer, it gives off a bit of the original Metal Gear Solid vibe. Not much information is out on it yet as far as gameplay, but you get a small sense of it from the trailer. At the very least, I’m intrigued.
The Church in the Darkness is scheduled to be released early 2017 and is going to be available for PC, Mac, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
